IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into IBS. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant?s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
Structure of IBSAT
IBSAT is a 2 hours objective type multiple choice exam. The examination is held to measure the ability of the candidates in the following areas: -
Quantitative Techniques : 25 questions
Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy : 25 questions
English : 50 questions
Reading Comprehension : 25 questions
IBSAT is followed by the 30 minute general essay round and another general awareness test of half an hour. IBSAT exam score is given 25% weightage in the entire admission process.

ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group for students seeking admission in management programs. IBSAT is a 2 hours exam, which aims to test the applicant?s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytically reasoning and reading comprehension. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions.
IBSAT 2011 Eligibility: -
--> Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks. Student awaiting their results can also apply.
--> Post Graduation in Management with 60% and above marks.
--> Graduation in Statistics / Math?s / Economics / Engineering with 50% and above marks.
--> Graduation (any discipline) and should be a part of Family Business.
--> Graduation with 50% and above marks and a professional qualification like CFA / CA / CWA / CS.
Admission is based on IBSAT 2011 and Interview. GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted. IBSAT 2011 will be conducted on December 24, 2011 at various Test Centers all over India. Results for IBSAT 2011 will be declared on January 23, 2012. Selection Process will be conducted in 30 cities during February, 2012. Interviews will be conducted in March, 2012.
